Teachers make unspoken contributions to the development of not just young students but also society as a whole.

To celebrate the unwavering efforts of their teachers, the students of IIAD organised an event on Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan’s birth anniversary, which the country celebrates as Teachers’ Day. The program kicked off with a lot of pomp, given that there were only a limited number of pupils in the college due to offline classes starting in a phased manner.

The celebration began with a classical Indian dance performance set to Dua Lipa’s pop smash, “Levitating.” It established the tone for the rest of the afternoon, which featured beautifully synchronised dancing and music. Teachers, instructors, and staff members were astounded by their students’ talents. One does not frequently get to see their students break a leg and sway to their favourite songs. Our pupils, on the other hand, were sure to put on a fantastic show. They were full of energy and enthusiasm as they performed duets and solo acts.

Following the dance performances, some of the students hosted a game of imitation. As some of the pupils dressed up and mirrored their teachers, the faculty was left in splits, guessing. Furthermore, some of the impersonations were uncannily close to their intended target, eliciting well-deserved applause and cheer.

The event came to a close with a note of gratitude from the students to their beloved teachers. With the next phase of offline classes starting soon, this day honouring our teachers’ vital role in developing the minds of tomorrow couldn’t have come at a better moment.
