With over 18 years of experience in design and creative direction, IBM iX Design Director Ruchi Batra is passionate about the interlock between user needs, business objectives and technology capabilities. She has worked with several clients and cross disciplinary teams to shape impactful experiences by translating human needs into actionable design strategies. She has also worked across industries and geographies helping solve business problems and drive tangible business outcomes. As a researcher and designer, Ruchi brings unique perspectives to the many ways design can not only shape the present but also transform the future of emerging technologies and our world. Her motto is to leave the world better than she found it.
Ms Batra visited the IIAD campus and discussed the avenues of association between IBM and IIAD. She also interacted with the students, viewed their work and portfolios and gave feedback. Ruchi’s feedback was well appreciated by the students and has been incorporated in their portfolios.
Ms Batra shared some important key tips about practising communication design in today’s world which was greatly appreciated by the students.
