As a designer, I have noticed how AI can automate the tedious tasks that take up so much of my time, freeing me up to focus on the more creative aspects. AI for me has come in very handy when it comes to writing content. I can now easily write content and avoid using placeholder texts. This saves up so much time and situations of confusion. I'm confident that AI will be a powerful tool for designers in the years to come. It will help us to create better designs faster and more efficiently. And it will help us to connect with our users in new and meaningful ways.

AI is a captivating and somewhat intimidating realm for professionals. However, I see AI as an empowering tool that amplifies knowledge and optimizes resources. While it emulates human cognition, AI doesn't overshadow our innate thinking prowess. Relying solely on AI can weaken our generation. Yet, when embraced in moderation, AI becomes an invaluable asset rather than a hindrance. I leveraged ChatGPT to craft this paragraph, showcasing the delightful synergy between human ingenuity and AI capabilities.

AI has revolutionized the design business, reshaping the creative landscape through relentless technological advancement. With access to vast data, AI algorithms provide unprecedented insights and inspire designers. Moreover, AI-driven technologies enable seamless collaboration and client engagement, overcoming challenges in achieving risk-free solutions. However, the reliance of AI on existing repositories highlights its limitations compared to human creativity and uniqueness. It is crucial to regulate and train AI to prevent malicious use. By striking a harmonious balance between AI's power and human ingenuity, we unlock the full potential of technology while fostering creativity and innovation in the design process

Technology has always been a part of our growing design industry, however, the usage of that technology has to be used as a helping hand and not as the main source. Design as a whole is a very creative and personal outlook on the world which thus inspires the masses, if you take that whole process of intimate interactions with humans to discover the depths of your design and plan it with AI, you somehow manage to affect the beauty of what design is supposed to be. The growth of AI needs to be seen as a part and not as a replacement, one can't grow without humanness in design and thus, no matter how good working with AI sounds, a person always needs to have much more tasks done at hand around people to gradually understand the process, successes, failures, and growth in designing.

AI (artificial intelligence) has become an over-hyped buzzword across many industries and the design world is no exception. There are ongoing conversations between designers and developers around the future impact of AI and how our jobs may be changing.
So, what does design bring to the conversation? With AI, new relationships will need to be established between customer and product. These interactions will be just the beginning of the ongoing conversation between business and consumer about what artificial intelligence can, and should be able to do for products and services. Designers will bring the necessary empathetic context for innovation, which is how a business will succeed with AI. Instead of being a threat, augmented intelligence will present a series of exciting opportunities. Leveraging those design opportunities is not going to happen by magic, but by designers co-creating with AI as our creativity sits in the crosshairs of art, science, engineering, and design. Technology in the past made us stronger and faster. AI will make us smarter. We just need to wait a little longe.

As designers, we should embrace the advancements in technology and use them to our advantage. By staying up-to-date with the latest tools and techniques, we can stay ahead of the curve and continue to provide value to our clients. However, it's also important to recognize the limitations of AI and not rely on it too heavily. By doing this, we can free up time for more creative thinking and experimentation. Ultimately, the best designs will always come from both human creativity and technological innovation. So let's focus on developing our skills and working collaboratively with AI to create exceptional designs that stand the test of time.
I strongly believe in the symbiotic relationship between technology and design. However, the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) raises concerns about the potential loss of genuine human interaction. As an Interior Designer, my focus is on creating spaces that address problems and cater to people's needs. Human interaction is essential for successful design, as it allows us to understand and solve real-world challenges. Striking a balance between technology and human-centred design. is crucial to preserve the essence of craftsmanship and meaningful connections. By leveraging technology as a tool, we can enhance our designs while ensuring they truly serve and engage people.

A.I in Design Business. It’s been a conflicting matter for me ever since I watched “The Social Dilemma” as part of one of our class assignments at IIAD. As much as the fast paced growth in this area intimidates me, I’ve found instances in our work place alone, when used properly, it’s empowering and enhancing people’s work. We’ve recently delved into ChatGPT and Midjourney. I must say they do help optimise work output when stuck in a creative block; but in saying that, I wouldn’t want to solely rely on it and put away my human touch of creative thinking. They’re great to have as tools, but as humans we should be cognisant, aware and most importantly responsible in our usage of such tools.
