IIAD as an institute believes in celebrating the students’ achievements at every step of their design journey. For that not only showcases the students’ hard work but also nurtures the Institute as a whole. Completing the first year in their design education is indeed laudable and praiseworthy. The Foundation Year Batch 2017-18 successfully completed their first year of design education and embarked on an enthralling journey into the next level that leads to the exploration of their chosen design discipline.
The cheery day began with all the students gathering in the foyer area of the campus and awaiting eagerly to witness proceedings of the day. Dean of Academics, Prof. Usha Nehru Patel, took to the stage and congratulated all the students on the successful completion of their Foundation Year in Design. She further encouraged the students to go beyond their creative limits and escalate their accomplishments while they progress in their design education. IIAD’s Founder Director, Dr. Jitin Chadha, graced the stage with his presence and congratulated all the students for achieving the first milestone of their design education.
The event was then followed by the most awaited moment of the day, the awarding of certificates to the excited students as a mark of the first breakthrough in their design expedition. The event concluded with an inspiring address by Ms. Prachi Mittal, Course Leader of the Foundation Year Programme at IIAD. Her words were received with a roaring applause from the students who acknowledged each and everything that she stated with respect to their learnings and experience at IIAD so far.
