Collaborative Projects

TugBug – FabIndia

The third year students of Interior Architecture and Design at IIAD got the opportunity to work with one of India’s leading fabrics and furnishings brand, Fabindia, on a live project that was of 3 months duration. A team of 6 students had received a brief wherein they had to redesign the interior space of a children's recreational centre, TugBug, housed at Fabindia’s outlet in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. The project gave our students a first-hand experience of the finer nuances of Interior Architecture right from concept down to the execution stage of the design. The project helped them familiarise themselves with spatial and technical design, building materials and lighting, keeping the end-user in mind.
