The 16-week Learn On-site internship is a long-term industry exposure envisaged as the gateway to your professional debut. The final year focuses on refining your intellectual position in the fashion business environment as a management researcher. You will advance your application of research methods by learning to identify problem areas and then devising ways to resolve them by conducting in-depth research. It equips you with the ability to present a business concept, craft business proposals, and formulate business strategies. The Capstone project, which brings together the learnings of the past three years, is envisioned as a gateway to your future practice of Fashion Business Management. The first year of the postgraduate course in fashion business management is an intensive preparatory phase that is conceived to strengthen your fundamentals in fashion business operations. The course emphasis is on such practical projects, via which you learn the principles of fashion, merchandising and branding. Masters in fashion business management prepares you for a business or management career in the fashion industry, by opening up fresh opportunities which raise the professional bar. Learn how global brands function by analysing strategies for supply chain, logistics management, retailing, promotions and e-commerce. The IIAD Management Aptitude Test (iMAT) is a written test designed to assess an applicant’s language, logical reasoning and creative thinking. The exam paper is a combination of multiple choice questions and writing tasks.
Personal Interview is an opportunity for applicants to have a face to face interaction with the faculty, so that their suitability can be assessed. With this understanding, the faculty can guide the applicant towards how the programme can meet their aspirations and interests.

IIAD provides merit-cum-means scholarships to deserving students. All students who qualify the IIAD Entrance Test are eligible to apply for scholarships. The information about applying for a scholarship will be made available along with the offer of admission.
IIAD is connected with 200+ organizations across the industry for student internships, collaborative projects and placements. IIAD encourages students to explore internship opportunities throughout the duration of their chosen program. At the end of the first year students are encouraged to complete an 8 week internship. In the second year a Career Building Internship of 16 weeks duration is mandatory. Credits are awarded based on work done during the internship. In the final year students work on their Capstone Project, which brings together the learnings of the past three years, and is envisioned as a gateway to the future practice of Fashion Business Management.
