What You Actually Do Here

Not assignments. Real work. Every activity produces portfolio-worthy output that speaks louder than any transcript.

Launch a pop-up store

With real inventory, real sales data, real visual merchandising. Not a simulation — an actual retail experience.

Produce a fashion show

You manage production, sponsorship, media, and PR. End-to-end event leadership.

Source in craft clusters

Jaipur, Panipat, Agra, Kashmir. Engage with living craft traditions as contemporary knowledge.

Build a brand from scratch

Your capstone isn't a thesis — it's a launched venture with a real brand identity and go-to-market strategy.

Travel to fashion capitals

Milan. Paris. London. Mandatory international immersions to ateliers, flagships, and luxury trade events.

Curate a luxury experience

Design and execute experiential strategies for luxury brands — VIP events, client journeys, window productions.

Walking into Louis Vuitton on my first day, I realised UDIT had prepared me in ways I didn't fully appreciate while studying. The luxury projects, client experience modules — it all clicked. Tisha Pujara Fashion Consultant, Louis Vuitton
Luxury is luxury — the principles of exclusivity and heritage storytelling are the same whether you're working with couture or cars. UDIT's multi-category approach is exactly why I could make that leap. Kritika Chatterjee Marketing & PR, Ferrari

How We Are Different
Designers who can't read a P&L sheet. Management graduates who think fashion is just another FMCG vertical. International programmes that cost over 1 Cr and requires you to leave the country. UDIT exists to close this gap.

Is this a real university degree?

Yes. UDIT is a State Private University under the Haryana Private Universities Act. Your child graduates with a UGC-recognised BBA (Hons) — 4 years, 160 credits, NEP 2020 compliant.

What about placements?

Graduates are placed at Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Ferrari, Calvin Klein, Reliance Brands, Marks & Spencer, and more. India's fashion and luxury industry is expanding rapidly.

IIAD legacy — is this proven?

UDIT builds on IIAD's 10+ years of pioneering design education. Faculty networks, industry partnerships, and studio methods are mature and proven.

How is this different from NIFT?

NIFT focuses on fashion design. UDIT's School of Management focuses on fashion business — branding, buying, merchandising, luxury management. Different trajectories entirely.

International exposure?

Mandatory study tours to Milan, Paris, or London are built into the curriculum. Students also visit India's craft clusters. Academic immersions, not optional trips.

Delhi NCR advantage

India Fashion Week, DLF Emporio, The Chanakya, FDCI, luxury brand HQs — all within reach. The industry is your neighbour.

Design it. Brand it. Launch it. Start here.
