Mandy Ure, Dean, Kingston School of Art, visited IIAD in 2019 as part of the Kingston team to attend the graduation of the first batch of IIAD Students. As part of deepening the collaborative relationship, she has been instrumental in giving IIAD students the opportunity to study at Kingston under the 2+2 exchange initiative. Besides this she also initiated the visits of specific department faculty from KU to interact with the students, amongst other matters. The Dean interacted with the students and reassured them that their quality of work was at par with their counterparts in the UK. Brief Bio Mandy Ure is the Dean, Kingston School of Art, Kingston University. She joined Kingston School of Art in 2015 as Head of Department for Fine Art. Her previous substantive role was Head of the School of Art and Design at University of the West of England, Bristol. Ms Ure studied at Goldsmiths College, University of London and Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee. She also holds the British Council Award (Venice Biennale). Ms Ure is an artist and has exhibited nationally and internationally. She is part of the We Are Publication (WAP) group at KSA and in the last three years has fostered international postgraduate research links for students and staff. Ms Ure is a member of the Senior Leadership Team. She is responsible for the strategic, financial and operational oversight of the Kingston School of Art in line with University priorities.
