Foundation in Design
Anshoo Rajvanshi with two decades of experience in the field of art and design has a fine arts and sociology background. She has conducted numerous workshops, solo and group shows in India, and has been a national scholar awarded by the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt of India. She was awarded a Fellow of Higher Education Academy, UK in 2018.
As an academician for around a decade at NIFT Delhi, along with teaching, curriculum development and implementation, she has been instrumental in documentation and design intervention in the craft sector. She also facilitated the study of three indigenous handicrafts in Haryana for protection under IPR with the office of DCH, MoT. With research as one of her core strengths, she has co authored some noteworthy academic papers and even presented on a global platform.
Her engagement with an NGO is a journey she hopes to continue towards skill development, design intervention, and implementation of sustainable business models in the rural sector. At IIAD, Anshoo being part of the foundation team continues to nurture and enable students to bridge the gap between art and design, between objectivity and subjectivity, between aesthetics and functionality for them to emerge as design leaders.
