Suman Bhandary is a typeface designer and font developer who graduated with a MA in Typeface Design from the University of Reading, UK and a recipient of the prestigious Charles Wallace Scholarship. He has contributed as a Principal Designer of the font “Mina” published by Google Fonts and featured by Google Design, in 2017.
He has been dedicating himself with keen focus on research based on typography and type design primarily on Indian scripts.
Suman has worked as a Graphic Design Consultant at the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) where he was involved in branding for the Amazon India Fashion Week 2018, that included print and digital media. He contributed to the field of advertising over a period of 4 years working for agencies like D & H Blurb Communication and Wizmore Communications and managed a group of art directors to conceive ideas, initiate and supervise the advertising campaigns.

He specialises in working with multilingual Indian and Latin type design briefs as well as handling digital tools for production and design.
