Snehanshu Mukherjee has over 34 years of experience in the field of architecture and planning. He also has over 28 years of experience of being an academician. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
He participated in the National Architectural Design Competition to design The New Wing of the NGMA (National Gallery of Modern Art), New Delhi along with A R Ramanathan and Anurag Gupta, where they won the first prize.This led to the formation of a design firm called TEAM (Team for Engineering Architecture and Management, New Delhi) of which he is a Founding Partner.
He graduated from MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, U.S.A.) in 1988 with a post-graduate degree in S.M.Arch.S, where he specialized in Design & Housing.
Some of the major architectural projects he worked on are, New Wing of the National Gallery of Modern Art, Jaipur House, New Delhi, which is one of the top museums of modern art in the world. He also worked on the Osho Dham and designed the Park Havelock Island Resort in Andamans. Some of the interior designing projects he worked on are the Oxford Bookstore chain, Osho World boutiques in Delhi and Kolkata, and Tollygunge Club library in Kolkata.He has also been engaged in exhibition design. Some exhibitions he has worked on are The Amrita Shergil exhibition for NGMA Delhi, Mumbai & Bengaluru, and a Digital Art exhibition which took place across various cities in China
Other educational institutes where he has worked as a Visiting Faculty are, CEPT University, Ahmedabad, KVRIA Mumbai, PVP College of Architecture, Pune, Sushant School of Art and Architecture, Gurgaon, USAP, and Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
