Nihar is an experienced, hands-on entrepreneur with relentless passion to build things through innovation, uniqueness and originality in product and technology. He is the founder of The Banana Design Company, a Gurgaon based premium computational design firm.
He has vast experience in the interesting field of Branding and Marketing along with Offline Activations, Digital Marketing, UI/UX, Content Ideation and Project Planning during his tenure at Freecultr, an online lifestyle brand. He has also been associated with Kyazoonga as project manager for all the ticketing operations of ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 and IPL Season 4.
Nihar also co-founded a Mumbai based company, an ECHO that launched India’s first professional Jam Room Setup (The Echo Chamber). The venture then moved on to conceptualising and producing large and small format music festivals for rediff.com, Diageo and the like.
Nihar has always been inspired and driven to solve problems through creative and simple solutions with a firm belief in mitigation of risk through effective pre-planning. Evidently he has fared well in both the industries, design as well as music.
Geared to lead cross functional terms, Nihar’s expertise includes encompassing creative and content development, strategy and planning, brand and marketing, operations, user experience, technology and development, analytics and digital marketing.
At IIAD, Nihar engages with the students of BA (Hons) Communication Design and shares his expertise on various aspects of the discipline.
