Shalini Singh is a design strategist specialised in brand and communication design with an experience of over 20 years. She is an Alumni of the National Institute of Design and is also the founder of two companies. She holds a degree in Graphic design and Communication Design from National Institute of Design. Right after her graduation, she ventured onto becoming the Founder Director of Lemon Design Pvt. Ltd., an award-winning strategic branding and Integrated design consultancy.
Shalini further assisted Ray + Keshavan/ Brand Union as a Design Director which is one of India’s leading brand consultancy. She assisted Helio in Los Angeles as a design consultant. She is also the Founder Director of White Ink design Pvt. Ltd. Her professional expertise extends beyond the domain of communication design and forays into other lateral design specialisations. Shalini has worked with a wide range of clients national and international, some of them are Indian Metals and Ferrous Alloys, Cummins India, Eli Lilly India, Samsung India, Whirlpool India, ICICI, Medela, Hindustan Lever Ltd, Himalaya, Wipro India to name a few.
Shalini had worked on a lot of projects with multinationals focused on India determining the Indian language of design. Throughout her career, she has also helped and assisted numerous international companies deliver solutions to the Indian consumers as per the Indian cultural context.
At IIAD, Shalini will be engaging with and mentoring the students pursuing their Communication Design Programme.
