Anurag Dasgupta is an Independent filmmaker and commercial cinematographer based out of New Delhi. He holds a Diploma in Digital Video Production from Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology.
In the past he has worked with wildlife filmmakers Mike and Gautam Pandey, Independent filmmaker Q, served as an additional cinematographer for 3 feature length documentary films “An Ordinary Election” by Lalit Vachani , ‘Cities of Sleep’ by Shaunak Sen and ‘The Tantra of Embodiment’ by Lata Mani and Nicolas Grandi.
He was the primary cinematographer and DIT on a commercial project for ITC documenting their CSR and hotel initiatives from 2016-2018.
Currently he works as a freelance cinematographer for corporate films and ad films while developing a short fiction and a feature length documentary film.
At IIAD, he will be engaging with and mentoring the students pursuing their Communication Design Programme.
